Get Licensed

First, you will need to contact the SIA to request an application pack. This can be by phone or you can click here.

Once you have your application form, pay careful attention to the rules for completing it. Applications can take six weeks or even longer in busy periods and you do not want to wait this time only to have your application rejected for incomplete information.

Once the SIA have all the details scanned into their system, a decision will be made on whether to grant a licence. This licence will be valid for 3 years and costs £245.00. Be aware that the SIA can and will withdraw or suspend your licence at any time if it is found that you are found to have failed to meet the licensing requirements.
